VIVIAN

A veteran documentary film maker focusing on current social issues, Vivian has received numerous awards including the Peabody Award. Currently in production is “Maquilapolis,” a profile of three women who worked in Tijuana’s assembly factories.  She is also teaches at Stanford’s Program in Documentary Film.

Vivian manages to keep lively and intelligent conversation going while fording streams, navigating over, around or under downed trees, and climbing up steep terrain. “Boring” is about the only word that’s not in her vocabulary!
