What can you say about somebody who sometimes wears a dog leash around her neck?

She’s always loved the outdoors, and rediscovered a passion for distance hiking on a six-week solo backpack trip in the Sierras during the summer of 2004.

When not hitting the trails, she pounds the keyboard of her trusty laptop — thereby earning a “Certificate of Overwork” from her family — but she also enjoys cooking (especially baking), reading, sewing, gardening and movies.
