Benicia/Vallejo buffer, looking north towards Hiddenbrooke: We leapfrogged to another section of the BART, climbing above one of the many housing developments in Benicia. Looking back, we could see the high point above Hiddenbrooke (in the center of this photo) where we had eaten lunch last week. It was nice to make the connection with our last hike. In the foreground, purple vetch and crimson clover blossomed amid the verdant green grasses.
